A nice sunny day in Shanghai, view from the Bund on the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, as a ship slowly moves by…
The large tower is the famous Oriental Pearl Tower and is a TV and radio tower in Shanghai, China. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, makes it a distinct landmark in the area. The TV tower itself measures 468 meters high and is China’s second tallest TV and radio tower.
The Bund or Waitan is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. The area has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from the all over the world. Today, the most classic views of the Shanghai Skyline including the TV tower are taken from the Bund.

  1. I remember those female guides who were operating the elevators in the Oriental Pearl Tower. True Chinese epitomes of beauty. 😀

  2. I never went to Shangai but when I see these pictures I want to go there… Bravo, Tom!
