Beijing City Life

0415 Life in streets of Beijing

As life in Chinese cities is extraordinary rich and therefore hard to capture by a sole picture, I put three out of thousands pictures I took in Beijing’s hutongs. Strolling the narrow streets of Beijing last summer I found people who amazed me, people whose daily life was bound to streets, and people who just like me, were immersing with the surroundings and enjoying facets of life so different from those in Europe. China is indeed unlimited – in terms of people, possibilities, customs, foods, colours, music and so much more.

  1. Great view of so many people just living their lives. It’s something we often miss out on seeing as tourists. I like the way the pink pattern is echoed between the second and third pictures.
