Temples, be it Taoist, Buddhist or Lamaist, is something I really miss about China. This is a watercolour of a Taoist temple, in yellow and blue. On the top right of the paper there’s my stamp and calligraphy. The three characters, Xing Shan Guan, mean ‘Star Mountain Taoist Temple’. Star Mountain is the translation into Chinese of the name of the highest mountain range in continental Portugal, Serra da Estrela. I named the temple this way because I wish we had a Taoist Temple in that mountain of Portugal.
